This course trains you in light vehicle mechanics. It develops the skills and knowledge required to be competent in performing at industry standards on a variety of light vehicles.

Mature age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within their chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements.
Students have access to a fully equipped workshop environment (simulated) for practical demonstration and observations of all appropriate units throughout the course.
Practical tasks will be set for each student that relate to the course structure.
An assortment of assessment methods structures this qualification including Practical Observation, Written Assessment, Project and observations while student is attending to simulated real life scenarios.
